ANTIFOULING DEVICE FOR SEAWATER UTILIZATION STRUCTURE, ANTIFOULING DEVICE FOR SEAWATER PUMP, AND SEAWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling device for a seawater utilization structure, an antifouling device for a seawater pump, and a seawater pollution prevention method, the antifouling devices being capable of effectively suppressing adhesion and growth of marine organisms over a wide range of a seawater flow channel of a seawater intake system.SOLUTION: With an antifouling device 20 for a seawater utilization structure, positive electrodes of DC power sources 23, 26 are connected electrically with foreign matter removing bodies 21, 24 that function as anodes, while negative electrodes of the DC power sources 23, 26 are connected electrically with metal objects 22, 25 that function as cathodes. A direct current flowing from the DC power sources 23, 26 electrolyzes seawater around the anodes, resulting in generation of chlorine. The foreign matter removing bodies 21, 24 include screen structures 210, 240 that are immersed in seawater when used for physically removing contaminants in the seawater. A surface of the screen structures 210, 240 is coated with an electrochemically active and stable electrical catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】海水取水系統における海水流路の広範囲にわたって海生生物の付着・繁殖を効果的に抑制し得る、海水利用構造物の防汚装置及び海水ポンプの防汚装置並びに海水防汚方法を提供すること。【解決手段】海水利用構造物の防汚装置20においては、直流電源23,26の正極と、陽極としての異物除去体21,24とが、電気的に接続されていると共に、直流電源23,26の負極と、陰極としての金属物22,25とが、電気的に接続されており、直流電源23,26から流れる直流電流により該陽極の周辺の海水を電気分解して塩素を発生させるようになされている。異物除去体21,24は、使用時に海水中に浸漬され海水中の夾雑物を物理的に除去し得るスクリーン構造体210,240を有し、該スクリーン構造体210,240の表面が、電気化学的に活性で安定な電気的触媒で被覆されている。【選択図】図2
