PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faster for a trash basket for a sink stand which is prevented from falling down sideways or dropping down even when a kitchen garbage and the like which tend to absorb moisture to get heavier are put into the basket.SOLUTION: A fastener for a trash basket for a sink stand, which has the following (a)-(c), suspends a trash basket from an edge part of a sink stand and fastens the basket, where the following (b) includes at least the following (b-1) and (b-2) and the following (c) has at least the following (c-1) and (c-2): a support member (a), a leg member (b) and a holding member (c) for a trash basket formed of a pair of members connected to one end of the support member (a), a leg member (b-1) connected to an end of the support member (a) to which the holding member (c) is not connected, and having fastening means for a surface on which a fastener is installed, a leg member (b-2) having movability toward a longitudinal direction of the support member (a), a grasping pair portion (c-1) and a holding pair portion (c-2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
