PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bentonite compact capable of manufacturing a bentonite compact having a higher density.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a substantially spherical bentonite compact having a high density includes kneading a bentonite powder with water added, forming a wet bentonite compact by compression molding under a reduced pressure of a vacuum of 1000 Pa or lower, and drying and contracting substantially spherically rounded wet pellet. A method of manufacturing a bentonite compact including storing the bentonite compact when dried up to about 10 to 5% of moisture content, and after that, drying again the bentonite compact to the moisture content of 5 to 0% when the bentonite compact is actually used to put into practical use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2-2
【課題】より高密度のベントナイト成形体を製造することができるベントナイト成形体の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】ベントナイト粉体に水を添加して混練し、1000Pa以下の真空状態の減圧雰囲気において圧縮成形して湿潤ベントナイト固形体を作り、これを略球状に丸めた湿潤ペレットを乾燥収縮させて高密度の略球状のベントナイト成形体を製造する方法。前記ベントナイト成形体を含水比10〜5%迄乾燥した時点で保管し、その後、ベントナイト成形体を実際に使う時点で、ベントナイト成形体を含水比5〜0%迄再乾燥してから実使用に供するベントナイト成形体の製造方法。【選択図】図2−2
