    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a constant clearance between automotive equipment and an opening in a peripheral component.SOLUTION: Automotive equipment 100 includes: a central component 102 intended to close an opening of a peripheral component with a peripheral clearance; and a positioning member 20 having a plurality of centering elements 26. The positioning member 20 is removably linked to the central component 102. The positioning member 20 is arranged such that the centering elements 26 extend to project at least partially with respect to the central component 102. Each centering element 26 is deformable to cooperate with edges of the opening so as to center the central component 102 with respect to the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
