COMPACTOR AND METHOD FOR COMPACTING THE GROUND
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactor and a method for compacting the ground which can reliably prevent a ground material to be compacted from attaching to a periphery of one or a plurality of compacting roller of the compactor.SOLUTION: A compactor (10) comprises: at least one compacting roller (18 or 22) which can be rotated around a rotation shaft; a temperature detection structural body (42) which obtains temperature information representing a temperature of the ground (U, Uand U) in a working region of the compactor; a water sprinkling structural body (24 or 28) which is installed for each of at least one compacting roller (18 or 22) to sprinkle liquid over the same; and a control structural body (40) which controls at least one water sprinkling structural body (24 or 28) and/or generates a water sprinkling instruction on the basis of the temperature information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
