BLOCK WITH WEED CONTROL FUNCTION
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block with a weed control function in which the influence to a width dimension of a block body is reduced.SOLUTION: A weed control part 30 of this block 80 with a weed control function is constituted of a concave recessed substantially in the horizontal direction to the inside of a block body 50 from the side 52 with a pavement material coming in contact therewith. Accordingly, the dimensional change of a width dimension of an exposed portion is reduced, and an exposed portion of a sufficient width can be secured. Also, the upper end 34a of the concave is positioned inside from a lower end 34b, and thereby the filling property of the pavement material into the weed control part 30 by the rolling pressure is improved, and the occurrence of cavities in the weed control part 30 can be prevented. Further, this weed control part 30 is not provided with a recess in the vertical direction, and therefore the stress in the expanding contraction of the pavement material is not concentrated on a specific region, and the fracture of the pavement material is hard to occur. As a result, the shrinkage prevention function and weed control function of the pavement material can be maintained for a long term.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】ブロック本体の幅寸法への影響が少ない防草機能付ブロックを提供する。【解決手段】この防草機能付ブロック８０の防草部３０は、舗装材が接する側面５２からブロック本体５０の内側に略水平方向に凹んだ凹条で構成される。このため、露出部分の幅寸法の寸法変化が少なく、十分な幅の露出部分を確保することができる。また、凹条の上端３４ａを下端３４ｂよりも内側に位置させることで、転圧による防草部３０内への舗装材の充填性が向上し、防草部３０に空隙が生じることを防止することができる。さらに、この防草部３０は垂直方向に凹みを有さないため、舗装材の膨張収縮時の応力が特定の部位に集中せず、舗装材の破断が生じにくい。これにより、舗装材の収縮防止機能及び防草機能を長期間維持することができる。【選択図】図２
