PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that has a simple configuration and is capable of improving efficiency of demolition work.SOLUTION: A demolition device comprises a frame, cutting blade, pressing member, and advancing/retracting movement mechanism. On the frame is formed an aperture for inserting a demolition object including a first face and a second face on its rear side. The cutting blade is provided at a position on an inner side face of the aperture into which the demolition object is inserted, the position facing the first face of the demolition object. The pressing member is arranged at a position facing the second face of the demolition object inserted into the aperture. The advancing/retracting movement mechanism makes the pressing member perform advancing/retracting movement between an advancing position at which the pressing member is advanced to the cutting blade side to cut the demolition object and a retracting position at which the pressing member is retracted from the cutting blade side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
