PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge device and a water discharge system capable of restraining functional water from splashing on a hand of a user even when the functional water is discharged in accordance with operation of the user while allowing easy discrimination of discharge of the functional water.SOLUTION: A water discharge device discharging functional water for reducing bacteria includes a device body, a water discharge unit provided in a lower portion of the device body and having a water discharge port for downward spraying the functional water in the form of the mist, and a detector for detecting operation of a user for controlling water discharge and stop of the water discharge unit. The water discharge unit sprays the functional water in the form of the mist in such a manner that density of particles is lower in an outer side portion than in a center portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
