PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolator capable of improving a base isolation characteristic against long-cycle oscillation out of oscillation occurring in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A base isolator 10 includes a guide 12 attached to a building foundation lower end part 50, and a skirt 14 forming an air reservoir and configured to receive vertical oscillation of a foundation ground 52 to cause slide operation in a vertical direction along the guide 12. In the skirt 14, included is an expansion part 26 configured to absorb volumetric change of the air reservoir occurring in a case where the foundation ground 52 oscillates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】鉛直方向に生ずる揺れのうち、長周期の揺れに対する免震特性の向上を図ることのできる免震装置を提供する。【解決手段】建物基礎下端部50に取り付けられるガイド12と、空気溜まりを形成し、基礎地盤52の鉛直方向振動を受けることでガイド12に沿った鉛直方向へのスライド動作を成すスカート14とを有する免震装置10であって、スカート14には、基礎地盤52が振動した際に生じる前記空気溜まりの容積変化を吸収する膨縮部26が備えられていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図2
