SOUND ABSORBING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF INSTALLING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing structure capable of absorbing sound in various frequency ranges without losing design unity.SOLUTION: A sound absorbing structure makes use of Helmholtz resonators, and each resonator body member 20 includes partitioning wall members 29 for partitioning an internal space thereof. Each partitioning wall member 29 is an airtight material that is installed on a resonator body member 20 side to be in contact with a counter surface. At least one of the spaces partitioned by the partitioning wall members 29 becomes an acoustic chamber that functions as a Helmholtz resonator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
