COATED DIATOMITE, PRODUCT CONTAINING COATED DIATOMITE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COATED DIATOMITE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated diatomite capable of efficiently achieving properties originally obtained by diatomite, such as wettability or deodorant property, having strength easy to be handled and capable of being used in wide fields, a product containing the coated diatomite and a manufacturing method of the coated diatomite.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of coated diatomite, diatomite having a predetermined size is prepared (Step S11) and a dispersion or a solution of an inorganic calcium compound is prepared (Step S12). Then the diatomite with the predetermined size prepared in the Step S11 is impregnated in the dispersion or the solution prepared in the Step S12 (Step S13) and curing of a coating film of the inorganic calcium compound coating a surface of the diatomite is conducted (Step S14). Then the coated diatomite is manufactured by taking the diatomite off (Step S15) and conducting a post treatment such as drying if needed (Step S16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】珪藻土が本来有する調湿性や消臭性等の特性を十分に発揮させることができ、取扱いが容易な強度を有し、広範な分野で活用することができる被覆珪藻土、被覆珪藻土を含む製品、及び被覆珪藻土の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】被覆珪藻土の製造工程においては、所定の大きさを有する珪藻土が準備され(ステップS11)、無機カルシウム化合物の懸濁液又は水溶液が準備される(ステップS12)。続いて、ステップS11で準備された所定の大きさの珪藻土がステップS12で準備された懸濁液又は水溶液に浸漬され(ステップS13)、珪藻土の表面を被覆した無機カルシウム化合物の皮膜の硬化が行われる(ステップS14)。その後、珪藻土が取り出され(ステップS15)、必要に応じて乾燥等の後処理が行われて(ステップS16)、被覆珪藻土が製造される。【選択図】図1
