PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension measuring instrument capable of readily measuring a size of a substrate material and transfer extremely promptly and accurately the measured dimension of the substrate material directly to a sheet-form material according to the size of the substrate material.SOLUTION: A dimension measuring instrument 10 is for holding a sheet-form material 12 between a top plate 14 and a bottom plate 16, and marking on the sheet-form material 12 along an edge surface 14c of the top plate 14. The dimension measuring instrument includes the rod planar top plate 14 comprising an elastically deformable member, the rod planar bottom plate 16, and an intermediate member 18 at a position held between the top plate 14 and the bottom plate 16 and having a prescribed thickness. The top plate 14 and the bottom plate 16 are connected leaving an interval corresponding to the thickness of the intermediate member 18. By holding a top surface 14a of the top plate 14 and an undersurface 16b of the bottom plate 16 and applying force on the top surface 14a of the top plate 14, the top plate 14 is deformed and the sheet-form material 12 is held between an undersurface 14b of the top plate 14 and a top surface 16a of the bottom plate 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】下地材の大きさを容易に測定して、下地材の大きさに合わせ、極めて迅速かつ正確に、直接シート状材に測定した寸法を移すことができる寸法測定器具を提供する。【解決手段】シート状材12を上板14と下板16とで挟持し、上板14の端面14cに沿ってシート状材12に目印を付けるための寸法測定器具10であって、弾性変形可能な部材から成る棒板状の上板14と、棒板状の下板16と、上板14と下板16とに挟まれる位置にある所定厚さを有する中間部材18とを有し、上板14と下板16とが、中間部材18の厚さに応じた間隔を有して連結され、上板14の上面14aと下板16の下面16bとを把持して、上板14の上面14aに力を加えることにより、上板14が変形し、上板14の下面14bと、下板16の上面16aとでシート状材12が挟持される。【選択図】図1
