WELDING JOINED STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding joined structure in which depth of notch orthogonal to a direction of stress caused by a gap between a backing strip and a vertical member is decreased so as to reduce a stress intensity factor of an edge of the notch part so that destruction of a welding joint part can be inhibited.SOLUTION: In a welding joined structure, a backing strip 10 consists of a plurality of metal plates 10a laminated in a vertical direction, penetration depth of weld metal WM to the backing strip 10 does not exceed the overall thickness of the backing strip 10, and the weld metal WM is penetrated in board thickness of any of the metal plates 10a in a gap formed at butted portions between the backing strip 10 and a vertical member 1 so that notch depth is board thickness of one piece of the metal plates or less to be capable of making the notch depth smaller. Therefore, a stress intensity factor of an edge of the notch part is always reduced to be a fixed value or less so as to be capable of inhibiting destruction of a welding joint part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】裏当て金と鉛直材との間に生じる間隙に起因する応力方向に直交するノッチの深さを小さくすることにより、ノッチ先端の応力拡大係数を低減して溶接接合部の破壊を抑制することができる溶接接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】裏当て金10が鉛直方向に積み重ねられた複数の金属板10aによって構成され、裏当て金10への溶接金属WMの溶込深さが裏当て金10の全厚さを超えず、かつ裏当て金10と鉛直材1との突合せ部に生じている間隙おいて、溶接金属WMが複数の金属板10aのうちのいずれか一つの金属板10aの板厚内まで溶け込んでいるので、ノッチ深さは一枚の金属板の板厚以下となり、ノッチの深さを小さくすることができる。したがって、ノッチ先端の応力拡大係数を必ず一定以下の値に低減できるので、溶接接合部の破壊を抑制することができる。【選択図】図1
