PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply system capable of inexpensively inhibiting the possibility of cut-off of water within a building during power outage, a water supply pump device and a water supply pump control method.SOLUTION: A water supply system 1 includes: an electrically driven-type electrically powered pump 6 which is installed in a building 2; a gas-driven pump 7 which is not the electrically driven type and which is installed in parallel with the electrically powered pump 6 in the building; a smart electricity meter 12 which detects power supply situations of electric power supplied from a power distribution grid 9; and an EMS 14 which performs control for switching the electrically powered pump to the gas-driven pump 7 when detecting the stop of power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
