PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server, remote monitoring system, and remote monitoring method that enable an operator on a work machine to easily communicate with a service staff on the terminal side.SOLUTION: A work machine managing device is configured to include: a first storage unit that previously stores an image simulating a display mode on a work machine's display device; a second storage unit that for each work machine, stores information showing the work machine's states including a state at the time of a problem being generated at the work machine; and a control unit that in response to a request from a monitoring terminal, reads an image stored in the first storage unit and information stored in the second storage unit, the image and information being synthesized by the monitoring terminal into a maintenance simulation image, and transmits the image and information to the monitoring terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
