    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust emission suppression material capable of obtaining an excellent dust emission suppression effect, without the preparation of the above inorganic salts, and a dust emission suppression method.SOLUTION: A dust emission suppression material is laid on existing surface soil or agitated and mixed with the existing surface soil, in facilities comprising the existing surface soil. Thus, the dust emission suppression material can constitute new surface soil having dust emission further suppressed than the existing surface soil. In the dust emission suppression material, at least one of good-quality soil and stone dust is used as a base material, and sedimentary barium sulfate is blended into the base material.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】上述のような無機塩類を配合することなく、優れた発塵抑制効果を得ることができる発塵抑制材、及び発塵抑制方法を提供すること。【解決手段】発塵抑制材は、既設の表層土を備える施設において、既設の表層土の上に敷設されるか、既設の表層土と攪拌、混合されることにより、既設の表層土よりも発塵が抑制された新たな表層土を構成可能なものである。発塵抑制材は、良質土及び石粉のうち、少なくとも一方を母材として、母材に対して沈降性硫酸バリウムが配合されている。【選択図】なし
