PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wash basin unit expectable to impart a high-grade feeling to a user.SOLUTION: The present invention is a wash basin unit having a human body detection sensor for detecting a user approaching the wash basin unit and an operation part for operating a water discharge state from a water discharge port. The operation part comprises a plate-like member having a light-transmitting part and providing an appearance visually confirmed by the user, a light emission member arranged on the reverse surface side of the plate-like member and visibly displaying an operation area on the surface side of the plate-like member by emitting the light of an operation area sign, operation detection means arranged on the reverse surface side of the plate-like member and detecting the approach or contact of a detection body to the operation area visibly displayed on the surface side of the plate-like member and an operation body member for operating the water discharge state from the water discharge port in accordance with a detection state of the operation detection means. The light emission member visibly displays the operation area on the surface side of the plate-like member by emitting the light of the operation area sign when the human body detection sensor detects the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】使用者に高級感を与えることが期待できる水周り装置を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明は、当該水周り装置へ近づいた使用者を検知する人体検知センサと、吐水口からの吐水状態を操作するための操作部と、を備えた水周り装置である。操作部は、光を透過する部分を有し、使用者によって視認される外観を提供する板状部材と、板状部材の裏面側に配置され操作領域標識を発光させることで板状部材の表面側に操作領域を視認可能に表示させる発光部材と、板状部材の裏面側に配置され板状部材の表面側に視認可能に表示された操作領域への検知体の接近または接触を検知する操作検出手段と、操作検出手段の検知状態に応じて吐水口からの吐水状態を操作する操作本体部材と、を有している。発光部材は、人体検知センサが使用者を検知した時に、操作領域標識を発光させることで板状部材の表面側に操作領域を視認可能に表示させる。【選択図】図２
