PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure and a reinforcement method capable of easily executing reinforcement work in the present invention.SOLUTION: A reinforcement structure on one form is a reinforcement structure 1 for reinforcing an existing lattice column 2 and lattice beam. The lattice column 2 and lattice beam are formed with a clearance A of penetrating in the crossing direction with the longitudinal direction of the lattice column 2 and the lattice beam respectively, and are provided with a splice plate 11A inserted into the clearance A and a reinforcement member 11B extending along the lattice column 2 and lattice beam 3 respectively in a state of being fixed to an end part in the insertion direction D in the splice plate 11A, and the reinforcement member 11B comprises a web part 11a extending in the insertion direction D and fixing the splice plate 11A and a flange part 11b extending in the crossing direction with the web part 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
