PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a defatted molded body suppressing crack generation or breakage in a process till a final product and enhance yield of the final product in a defatted molded body of ceramic including terbium.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a defatted molded body of ceramic including at least a process for heating a ceramic molded body containing at least terbium oxide particles or terbium-containing composite oxide particles and an organic additive under atmosphere containing oxygen of 18 to 100 mass% at a defatting temperature of 450 to 1000°C and removing the organic additive to prepare a defatted molded body, a process for cooling the defatted molded body after decreasing oxygen concentration to 1.0 mass% or less by introducing inert gas to the atmosphere containing oxygen, the terbium-containing composite oxide particles are composite oxygen particles containing at least one or more kinds of rare earth elements selected from the group consisting of lanthanoid elements excluding terbium, and scandium and yttrium in addition to terbium particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】テルビウムを含むセラミックスの脱脂成型体において、最終製品までの工程でクラック発生あるいは破損を抑制し、最終製品の歩留まりを向上させる脱脂成型体製造方法の提供。【解決手段】酸化テルビウム粒子またはテルビウム含有複合酸化物粒子と、有機添加剤とを少なくとも含むセラミックス成型体を、酸素を18〜100質量%含む雰囲気下で脱脂温度450〜1000℃に加熱して該有機添加剤を除去し、脱脂成型体とする工程と、脱脂成型体を、酸素を含む雰囲気に不活性ガスを導入し酸素濃度を1.0質量%以下に下げてから冷却する工程とを少なくとも含み、テルビウム含有複合酸化物粒子が、テルビウム粒子に加えて、テルビウムを除くランタノイド元素、スカンジウム及びイットリウムからなる群から選択される1種以上の希土類元素を少なくとも含む複合酸化物粒子である、セラミックスの脱脂成型体の製造方法。【選択図】なし
