PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper part guide device for sliding door capable of suppressing sliding door raising due to a play in the vertical direction and the like.SOLUTION: An upper part guide device for sliding door includes: a sliding door fixing body 2 fixed at an upper part of a sliding door D; a connecting rod 3 protruding upward from the sliding door fixing body 2; a runner body 4 for guiding the sliding door D along an upper rail L1, and mounted at a tip part of the connection rod 3; a built-in damper member 5 including an outer cylinder 51a and a rod 51b which advances/retreats with respect to the outer cylinder 51a, provided at the sliding door fixing body 2, and in which an upper end comes into contact with the runner body 4 in a state where the rod 51b is advancing; and a spring 51c incorporated in the built-in damper member 5, and for energizing the rod 51b in the advance direction with respect to the outer cylinder 51a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
