RAIL SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR STRETCHABLE JOINT APPARATUS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail supporting structure for a stretchable joint apparatus, with which the stretchable joint apparatus arranged on opposing parts of two objects is prevented from dropping off in a case where a building is closed or separated in a vertical direction due to an earthquake or the like.SOLUTION: A rail supporting structure for a stretchable joint apparatus comprises: base parts 61 respectively arranged on opposing parts 11, 12; a joint plate 19 covering a gap between the opposing parts; a support bar 17 which supports the joint plate 19 and rotates in a following manner to relative displacement in a closing direction and separating direction of the opposing parts 11, 12; and a pair of rails 13 which are arranged on the base parts 61 in an extending state in parallel along an extending direction of each of the opposing parts 11, 12 and support both end parts in a longitudinal direction of the support bar 17 in a slidable manner. Contact bodies 87, 88, 89, which bring the base parts 61 and the rails 13 into linear contact with each other along the longitudinal direction of the rails 13, are arranged between a bottom part 62 of the base parts 61 and a bottom part 35 of the rails 13 and between rising parts 63 of the base parts 61 and rising parts 64 of the rails 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
