EMBANKMENT STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embankment structure capable of preventing collapse of top of slope even when sea water and/or river water overflows.SOLUTION: An embankment structure 1 includes: an embankment body 2 having a trapezoidal shape in cross section; and a projection 3 which is vertically installed on the top of slope at the land side of the embankment body 2. The projection 3 is formed in a rectangular shape in a cross section, the height is 0.05 times or more of an expected overflow depth. By forming the projections 3 continuously or intermittently in an axial direction of the embankment body 2, a negative pressure is prevented from being generated on the top of slope of the embankment body even when water overflows the embankment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】海水や河川水等が越流した際の法肩崩壊を抑制することを可能とした堤防構造を提案する。【解決手段】断面視台形状の堤防本体2と、堤防本体2の陸地側法肩に立設された突起3とを備え、突起3が、断面視長方形で、かつ、高さが想定越流水深の0.05倍以上で、なおかつ、堤防本体2の軸方向に対して連続してあるいは間欠的に形成されていることで、水が堤防を越流した際に堤防本体の法肩に負圧が生じることを防止する堤防構造1。【選択図】図1
