PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for constructing a ceiling that offers high earthquake resistance and enables construction work to be performed securely and efficiently without requiring any special skill.SOLUTION: A clip 1A for constructing a ceiling is for fitting a long ceiling joist 9 orthogonally to a long ceiling joist receiver 8, underneath the ceiling joist receiver 8 supported on a building structure. The clip includes: a bottom plate part 2 formed to have a dimension that may be disposed between side wall parts 92, 92 of the ceiling joist 9; a pair of lip hooking parts 3, 3 on which a pair of lip parts 93, 93 may be hooked, on both side edges of the bottom plate part 2; a back plate part 4 rising upward from the bottom plate part 2; a top plate part 5 extending roughly in a perpendicular direction from a height position on the back plate part 4 corresponding to a height of the ceiling joist receiver 8; a bolt insertion hole 6 opened on the top plate part 5; and a female screw hole 7 formed on the bottom plate part 2 opposite the bolt insertion hole 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
