CURTAIN WALL AND CATCH PAN FOR CURTAIN WALL UNIT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disallow members to interfere with each other even if curtain wall units are locked to each other when an earthquake takes place, and makes locking quantities substantially equal to each other to cause no damage.SOLUTION: A curtain wall has curtain wall units 2 coupled and arrayed longitudinally and laterally. A first end seal material 12 having first and second projection parts 12b and 12c formed at low parts is provided at an upper frame end part of one of the adjacent units 2A. A first projection-side longitudinal wall 15 and a second projection-side longitudinal wall 16 supporting the first and second projection parts 12b and 12c are projected from a longitudinal frame 6. A second end part seal material 13 which comes into contact with the first end part seal material 12 is provided at an upper frame end part of the other of the adjacent units 2B. The longitudinal frame 7 has a first recess-side longitudinal wall and a second recess-side longitudinal wall projected. With the first end part seal material 12 and second end part seal material 13 in contact with each other, a fitting recessed part of the second end part seal material 13 is fitted on the first and second projection parts 12b and 12c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】地震等の際にカーテンウォールユニットが互いにロッキングしても部材同士を干渉させず、ロッキング量が同程度になるようにして損傷等を生じさせない。【解決手段】カーテンウォールは、カーテンウォールユニット２を縦横に連結して配列した。隣り合う一方のユニット２Ａの上枠端部に第一及び第二突起部１２ｂ、１２ｃを下部に形成した第一端部シール材１２を設けた。第一及び第二突起部１２ｂ、１２ｃを支持する第一凸側縦壁１５及び第二凸側縦壁１６を縦枠６から突出させた。隣り合う他方のユニット２Ｂの上枠端部に第一端部シール材１２と密着する第二端部シール材１３を設けた。縦枠７には第一凹側縦壁と第二凹側縦壁を突出させた。第一端部シール材１２と第二端部シール材１３を互いに密着させた状態で、第一及び第二突起部１２ｂ、１２ｃの上に第二端部シール材１３の嵌合凹部を嵌合させた。【選択図】図３
