PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering tool capable of aligning a central axis of a hollow part having a circular opening with a central axis of a cylindrical member.SOLUTION: A centering tool includes: a first arm 11 and a second arm 12 of an equal length that swing within a respective prescribed angular range; a first joint 15 linking the first arm 11 with the second arm 12 swingably and provided with a center of swing; a pair of outside engaging bodies 21A, 21B with an interval therebetween changing along with a swinging motion of the first arm 11 and the second arm 12, the pair of outside engaging bodies being provided at positions in point symmetry with regard to the center of swing; and a pair of inside engaging bodies 23A, 23B provided on an inner side closer to the center of swing than the pair of outside engaging bodies 21A, 21B, the inside engaging bodies having an interval therebetween that changes along with or without regard to the changing interval between the outside engaging bodies 21A, 21B and provided at positions in point symmetry with regard to the center of swing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
