LIQUEFIABLE GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefiable ground improvement method which has no influence on a surrounding environment, does not face a difficulty in implementation thereof due to the surrounding environment, and can effectively enhance liquefaction strength of the ground.SOLUTION: A liquefiable ground improvement method improves liquefiable ground, which may liquefy on the occurrence of an earthquake, by impregnating the same ground with a water soluble polymer. The liquefiable ground improvement method enhances liquefaction strength of the liquefiable ground by applying the water soluble polymer thereto focusing on viscosity of the water soluble polymer. In a process to impregnate the liquefiable ground with the water soluble polymer, the liquefiable ground improvement method can reliably enhance the liquefaction strength of the liquefiable ground by enabling a degree of impregnation of the water soluble polymer in the ground of a construction area to be easily confirmed in a manner that samples the water soluble polymer at an injection side and a collection side and measures a difference in concentrations thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】周辺環境への影響がなく、また周辺環境に起因した施工困難性がなく、地盤の液状化強度を効果的に高めることのできる液状化地盤の改良方法を提供する。【解決手段】地震時に液状化の可能性のある液状化地盤に対し、水溶性の高分子ポリマーを浸透させて液状化地盤を改良する、液状化地盤の改良方法である。水溶性の高分子ポリマーの粘性に着目し、この水溶性の高分子ポリマーを適用することで液状化強度を向上させる。地盤に当該ポリマーを浸透させる工程において、注水側と集水側のそれぞれで水溶性の高分子ポリマーを採取し、それらの濃度差を計測することで、施工範囲の地盤中に当該ポリマーがどの程度浸透しているかを容易に確認することができるため、確実に地盤の液状化強度を高めることが可能になる。【選択図】図1
