PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distinguish a failure cause at a center server side without dispatching a technician to a job site, and to reduce a burden on a supervisor and a user, and to improve convenience of system use.SOLUTION: An IC card room entry/exist control system 100 for unlocking electric keys 52, 62 in accordance with an authentication result of an IC card 7 receives an inquiry from a user by a center server 11 (S1), and changes states of card readers 51, 61 from a normal mode for reading preliminarily set information stored in the IC card 7 to a diagnostic mode for diagnosing abnormality of the IC card 7 (S2), and determines whether or not the changed mode is the diagnostic mode (S3), and transmits the information of the IC card 7 read from the card readers 51, 61 to the center server 11 when it is determined that the card readers 51, 61 are in the diagnostic mode by an apartment controller 5 or a home server 6 (S6), and determines whether or not the IC card 7 has a failure by the center server 11 (S7, S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】技術員者を現場に派遣しなくともセンターサーバ側で故障原因を切り分け、管理者および利用者の負担を軽減し、システム利用の利便性を向上させる。【解決手段】ＩＣカード７の認証結果に応じて電気錠５２，６２を解錠するＩＣカード入退室管理システム１００において、センターサーバ１１で利用者からの問い合わせを受け付け（Ｓ１）、カードリーダ５１，６１の状態をＩＣカード７に記憶された、あらかじめ設定された情報を読み取る通常モードから、ＩＣカード７の異常を診断するための診断モードに変更し（Ｓ２）、変更されたモードが診断モードであるか否かを判定し（Ｓ３）、マンションコントローラ５あるいはホームサーバ６で、カードリーダ５１，６１が診断モードと判定されたとき、カードリーダ５１，６１から読み出したＩＣカード７の情報をセンターサーバ１１に送信し（Ｓ６）、センターサーバ１１でＩＣカード７が故障か否かを判断する（Ｓ７，Ｓ８）。【選択図】図４
