REBUILDING METHOD FOR EXISTING BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rebuilding method that alleviates the influence of buoyancy applied to an underground skeleton in association with fluctuations in vertical load during construction work.SOLUTION: In a rebuilding method for an existing building, a metallic weight is installed in an underground skeleton to control the float-up and settlement of the underground skeleton. The metallic weight regulates the weight of a ground skeleton changing in a demolition step of an existing ground skelton in rebuilding work for an existing building and a construction step of a newly-built ground skeleton, and buoyancy of groundwater acting on the underground skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
