PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe excellent in sensitivity to ultrasonic waves even when the thickness of a piezoelectric composition is small.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe has a piezoelectric element including a piezoelectric composition and an electrode for applying a voltage to the piezoelectric composition. The piezoelectric composition has piezoelectric properties included in a region surrounded by a polyhedron having a predetermined plurality of points as apexes in rectangular coordinates (k, ε, E) with k, ε, and Eas variables.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
