LIGHT TRANSMISSIVE ZIRCONIA SINTERED BODY, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND APPLICATION THEREFOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconia sintered body having high light transmissivity and high strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a zirconia sintered body containing cubic crystal particles having a tetragonal domain, solid dissolving at least one kind of neodymium, praseodymium and gadolinium and a stabilizer, and having average crystalline diameter calculated from half width of a peak of 2θ=30±2° in a powder X ray diffraction pattern with CuKα as a radiation source of over 255 nm. There is provided a zirconia sintered body having content of at least one of neodymium, praseodymium and gadolinium of 0.1 to 10 mol%. There is provided a zirconia sintered body where the stabilizer is at least one kind from yttria, scandia, calcia, magnesia or ceria.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
