INSULATION COVER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation cover that insulates a rail from a wheel and may be used with a part other than a rail joint part.SOLUTION: An insulation cover 1 is formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin having insulation property and elasticity, and includes a head top surface cover 2 and a pair of side surface covers 3. The head top surface cover 2 is a portion covering a head top surface of a rail. The side surface cover 3 is a portion extending downward from both edge parts of the head top surface cover 2 in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the rail when seen in a planar view, and covering a prescribed range of a side surface of a rail head part 4. An interval S between bottom edges of the side surface covers 3 facing each other is set to be narrower than a width of the rail head part. Thus, the insulation cover 1 is fitted such that the interval between the side surface covers 3 facing each other is expanded and the rail head part 4 is sandwiched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】レールを車輪から絶縁でき、レール継目部以外にも用いることができる絶縁カバーを提供する【解決手段】絶縁カバー1は、絶縁性及び弾性を有する合成樹脂を一体成形したものであり、頭頂面カバー2と、一対の側面カバー3とを有する。頭頂面カバー2は、レールの頭頂面を覆う部分である。側面カバー3は、頭頂面カバー2の平面視でのレール長手方向に直交する方向の両端部から下方に延びてレール頭部4の側面の所定範囲を覆う部分である。対向する側面カバー3の下端の間隔Sが、レール頭部の幅より狭く設定されている。これにより、絶縁カバー1は、対向する側面カバー3の間隔が拡がり、レール頭部4を挟むように取り付けられる。【選択図】図4
