PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank excellent in a replacement number of water suitable for the water storage tank comparatively short in the length in the cylinder axial direction, and capable of always freshly keeping a water quality in the tank thereby.SOLUTION: In a water storage tank of a cylindrical shape, an elliptic cylindrical shape and a long cylindrical shape, a water flow (w) in the circumferential direction of plane symmetry is generated on both sides of a plane (p) in the radial direction including the axis (c) of a cylindrical body 11. An inflow pipe 2 and an outflow pipe 3 in the cylinder axial direction are proximally arranged in the radial direction of the cylindrical body 11. Water flowing in the water storage tank flows out while diffusing in the circumferential direction toward a peripheral wall on the anti-outflow pipe side of the cylindrical body 11 from discharge ports 4 (4a, 4b and 4c) opening on the anti-outflow pipe side of the inflow pipe 2. A suction port 5 of the outflow pipe 3 is opened on the anti-inflow pipe side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】筒軸方向の長さが比較的短い貯水槽に適した水の入替数の良い、従って槽内の水質を常時新鮮に保つことができる貯水槽を提供する。【解決手段】円筒形、楕円筒形、長円筒形の貯水槽において、円筒胴11の軸心cを含む径方向の面pの両側に面対称の周方向の水流wを生じさせる。円筒胴11の径方向に近接して筒軸方向の流入管2と流出管3とを配置する。貯水槽に流入する水は、流入管2の反流出管側に開口する吐出口4(4a、4b、4c)から円筒胴11の反流出管側の周壁に向けて周方向に拡散しながら流出する。流出管3の吸入口5は、反流入管側に開口している。【選択図】図5
