PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a failure due to a compressive force in a shaft center direction applied on an operation rod that transmits movement of an output end of a drive unit in order to project or retract a baseboard without inducing weight increase.SOLUTION: A movable partition wall has multiple panels that can move along a ceiling rail. At least one of the panels consisting the movable partition wall comprises: a panel body, which is movably suspended from and supported by the ceiling rail; a baseboard, which is projectably and retractably disposed on a marginal part of the panel body; a drive unit, which moves an output end forward or backward depending on an operation input to project or retract the baseboard; an operation rod, which is energized by the output end of the drive unit to move forward or backward in the shaft center direction; and a baseboard operation mechanism, which converts the movement of the operation rod due to a tensile force in the shaft center direction into a projection operation of the baseboard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29
【課題】重量増加を招くことなく、巾木を突没させるための駆動装置の出力端の動きを伝達する作動ロッドに軸心方向の圧縮力が作用することによる不具合を解消する。【解決手段】天井レールに沿って移動可能な複数枚のパネルを備えてなる可動間仕切壁を構成するパネルの少なくとも1枚を、天井レールに移動可能に懸吊支持されるパネル本体と、このパネル本体の縁部に突没可能に設けられた巾木と、前記巾木を突没させるために入力される操作に応じて出力端を進退させる駆動装置と、この駆動装置の出力端に付勢されて軸心方向に進退動作を行う作動ロッドと、前記作動ロッドが軸心方向の引張り力を受けつつ移動する動きを前記巾木の突出動作に変換する巾木作動機構とを備えたものとする。【選択図】図29
