PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolator, which can reduce a vibration of a small frequency number and can be installed through simple work, and may secure a function as a vibration isolator even when large force has been input.SOLUTION: A vibration isolator 1 includes: a laminated body 10 having a rubber plate 11 and a hard plate 12; a top plate 21 and a bottom plate 26 disposed to sandwich the laminated body 10 in an axial line direction; a lower support part 27 provided on the bottom plate 26 so as to extend outward the axial line direction on one side of the laminated body 10 in the axial line direction, for restricting displacement of the one side of the laminated body 10 by a prescribed amount or more in a direction orthogonal to the axial line direction; and an upper support part 22 provided on the top plate 21 so as to extend inward the axial line direction on the other side of the laminated body 10 in the axial line direction. The lower support part 27 and the upper support part 22 are provided to overlap with each other when seen from the direction orthogonal to the axial line direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
