EXPANSION JOINT FOR ROAD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint for road which improves a cutoff performance in connecting expansion joints that are adjacent in a length direction of a joint part of a road bridge or the like, with each other in accordance with a simple method, suppresses water leakage from a connection location and is capable of easily connecting the adjacent expansion joints with each other in field work.SOLUTION: Each of a pair of joint members 21 constituting an expansion joint 20 includes side plate parts 30, in both side ends, for connecting with a joint member 21 that is adjacent in a length direction of a joint part. A packing groove 30a is formed in at least any one of the adjacent side plate parts 30, and a packing 31 including a wrapped part 31a that protrudes towards an opposite joint member side is disposed in the packing groove 30a. Between the opposing joint members, an elastic sealing material 32 wrapping the wrapped part 31a of the packing is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】簡易な方法で道路橋等の継目部の長手方向に隣接する伸縮継手同士の連結における止水性能を向上し、連結箇所からの漏水を抑制するとともに、現場作業において、隣接する伸縮継手同士の連結を容易に行うことのできる道路用伸縮継手を提供する。【解決手段】伸縮継手20を構成する一対の継手部材21は、それぞれ両側端部に、継目部の長手方向に隣接する継手部材21と連結するための側板部30を有し、隣接する側板部30の少なくともいずれか一方にはパッキン溝30aを形成し、パッキン溝30aには、相対する継手部材側に向けて突き出す被包容部31aを有するパッキン31を配置し、相対する継手部材間には、パッキンの被包容部31aを包容させた弾性シーリング材32を設ける。【選択図】図5
