OPEN CHANNEL FLOW RATE MEASURING SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution to such issues in open channel flow rate measuring systems that: ultrasonic flowmeters require to install ultrasonic transducers in the channel, being costly and low in maintainability; weir type flowmeters and flume type flowmeters require to install civil engineering structures in the channel, being costly and causing issues in water head loss of the channel; and average flow rate formula flowmeters are inapplicable to any channel other than the channel in the uniform flow state.SOLUTION: In the case of a gradually-changing non-uniform flow open channel with uniform channel cross sections and a consistent channel slope along the flow-down direction, the water depths in the upstream and the downstream are obtained by sounding or the critical depth calculation. Flow rates which would form the water surface shape connecting the aforesaid upstream water depth and downstream water depth are successively and dynamically explored. As a result from the exploration, the flow rates which corresponds to the water surface shapes connecting the aforesaid upstream water depth and downstream water depth are considered equivalent to measured flow rates. Thus measuring flow rates by sounding water depths and calculations is possible enabling the constitution of an inexpensive flow rate measuring system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】開水路流量計測装置として、超音波式流量計は水路内に超音波の送受信器を設置する必要があり、高価で保守性が課題である。堰式流量計およびフリューム式流量計は土木構造物を水路に設置する必要があり、高価となり、水路の水頭損失が課題である。平均流速公式法流量計は等流状態以外の水路に適用できないことが課題である。【解決手段】水路断面が一様で流下方向に対して水路勾配が一定の漸変不等流開水路において上流水深および下流水深を水位測定または限界水深演算により求める。前記上流水深および下流水深を結ぶ水面形を形成する流量を逐次可変して探索する。探索の結果、前記上流水深および下流水深を結ぶ水面形に合致した流量を流量計測値とする。水位測定と演算により流量計測が可能となり安価な流量計測装置が構成可能となった。【選択図】図1
