PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a vehicular opening/closing body such that a machine element is suppressed from being tensed, and an opening/closing control device for the vehicular opening/closing body.SOLUTION: An electric slide door device comprises: a slide door drive part which opens and closes a slide door as a drive cable connecting the slide door and a vehicle together is taken up; a latch 32 which is provided to the slide door for a striker S provided to a vehicle, and engages the striker S; a full-opening latch device 13 which has a pole 33 for holding the latch 32 in engagement with the striker S; a pole switch 40 which detects the pole 33 holding the latch 32 in engagement with the striker S; and a control device which stops the drive cable from being taken up by the slide door drive part in response to holding the latch 32 in engagement with the striker S by the pole 33 as a trigger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
