PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone that requires a reduced area for grave installation and having high earthquake resistance.SOLUTION: A gravestone comprises a hollow columnar body having at least one through-hole, and a cover to be placed on the hollow columnar body for blocking up an opening of the through-hole at an upper end part of the hollow columnar body. A bone bag is desirably inserted into the through-hole. A shape of the hollow columnar body is desirably a hollow square column such as a hollow columnar shape, a hollow triangular column, a hollow square column, and a hollow pentagonal column, or a hollow truncated pyramid such as a hollow conical pyramid, a hollow triangular truncated pyramid, a hollow square truncated pyramid, and a hollow pentagonal truncated pyramid. A shape of a gravestone is desirably a columnar shape. A plurality of through-holes may be formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
