PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing an existing column which can inhibit reduction in available space and can reduce man-hours in a construction site to shorten a construction period.SOLUTION: Above foundation concrete 4, reinforcing columns 13-16 are placed across reinforcing column base metals 11, 12 not having anchor bolts 5 inserted therein, and the reinforcing columns 13-16 and an existing column 2 are joined together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
