STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR REINFORCING EMBANKMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for reinforcing an embankment, which enable reinforcement of a slope face of the embankment while inhibiting flow of a part for supporting the embankment, without making cross-sectional performance of an earth retaining wall excessive.SOLUTION: A structure for reinforcing an embankment 3, which reinforces the embankment 3 on a ground surface, includes an earth retaining wall 5 that is buried in ground and that reaches a fixed bed M, serving as a part for supporting the embankment 3, of the ground 2, and a reinforcing material 6 that is buried in the embankment 3 and that reinforces a slope face of the embankment 3 by having an anchoring mechanism anchored in the embankment 3.
