THERMAL SPRAYING REPAIR METHOD FOR REFRACTORY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying repair method capable of prolonging a service life of a repair refractory so as to prevent the repair refractory from being peeled from a damage part of a refractory, and capable of preventing abrupt temperature rise of a steel shell.SOLUTION: A thermal spraying repair method for refractory comprises thermally spraying, to a damage part 11 of a silica brick refractory 10, a first repair refractory 13 containing SiOor 50 mass% or more as a thermal spraying pre-composition (converting to SiOin a case of containing metal Si). The thermal spraying repair method also comprises thermally spraying, before thermally spraying the first repair refractory 13, a second repair refractory 12 that contains SiOor 50 mass% or more as a thermal spraying pre-composition (converting to SiOin a case of containing metal Si), and whose melting point depression margin to the first repair refractory 13 is within a range of 10-100°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
