PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roofing membrane with flame retardant properties substantially without halogen-containing flame retardants.SOLUTION: A roofing membrane comprises at least one layer of a cured rubber, and expandable graphite dispersed within the cured rubber. The cured rubber is from curing of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber. The content of expandable graphite is at most 35 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
