PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat-insulation member that allows hermetic sealing at low temperature and has high heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: A vacuum heat-insulation member has a first base material, a second base material disposed so as to face the first base material with space therebetween, and a sealing part provided at the edge of internal space formed between the first and second base materials. The sealing part contains a glass phase and a metallic phase. The metallic phase is formed closer to the internal space than the glass phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
