PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand which suppresses erroneous detection caused by water when detecting a user with a sensor part using a radio wave, and is improved in the detection accuracy of the user.SOLUTION: A washstand comprises a bowl part having an overflow port, a water discharge part that has a water discharge port and discharges water to the bowl part from the water discharge port, a sensor part that detects an object to be detected on the basis of the reflected wave of a radiated radio wave, and a driving part that operates according to a detection result of the sensor part. A detection area of the object to be detected of the sensor part does not include the area of a locus of water discharged from the water discharge port, and an area lower than the overflow port in the bowl.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
