STEEL TUBE JOINT DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubing joint device to improve workability of connecting steel tubes for pile.SOLUTION: A tubing joint device A using a butt-to-butt connection of a pair of steel tubes comprises a cylindrical male joint 10 and a cylindrical female joint 20, both of the male and female joints connecting each other by integrally mating and interlocking around an axis of the tubes. Peripheral grooves 14, 24 are formed at both of corresponding opposite mating surfaces on the male and female joints in which an engagement element 30 (a divided element 31) equally divided in a groove is movably installed in a radial direction of the male and female joints. When both of the male and female joints mate together, the engagement element is retrieved in one of the groove 24 to enable mating of the joints, and after mating, being pressed with a coil spring 34 to the other groove 14 to be positioned over both of the grooves preventing disengagement of the male and female joints in an axial direction. The divided element 31 of the engagement element is supported with a flat screw 41 and a set screw 44 is screwed into a boundary end of each of the divided element to press an adjacent divided element to a bottom surface of the grooves, which allow the male and female joints to be firmly fixed in the grooves to firmly integrate the male and female joints in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】杭用鋼管を作業性良く連結する。【解決手段】2つの鋼管を突き合わせて接続する継手装置Aであり、筒状雄雌継手10、20からなって、その雄雌継手は、嵌り合って噛み合いによってその軸心周りに一体となる。雄雌継手の嵌り合った両対向面に周溝14、24をそれぞれ形成し、その溝内に等分割された係合駒30(分割片31)を雄雌継手の径方向に移動可能に装填する。係合駒は、雄雌継手が嵌り合う時には、一方の溝24内に退去してその嵌り合いを許容し、嵌り合った後は、コイルバネ34によって他方の溝14内に押されて両溝に亘り位置して雄雌継手の軸方向の離反を阻止する。係合駒の分割片31は、皿ねじ41に支持され、各分割片の境界端部にはイモネジ44がねじ込まれて隣接する分割片を溝底面に押圧し、溝内に係合駒がしっかり固定されて雄雌継手の上下方向が強固に一体化する。【選択図】図4
