PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable partition wall which hides the space or gap between the partition and the ceiling.SOLUTION: The foldable partition wall 10 comprises a foldable panel assembly 20, each panel assembly comprising an upper panel 21 and a lower panel 22, in which the upper panel and the lower panel extend substantially in a common vertical plane when in the deployed position and extend in a superimposed relationship transversely outward of a common vertical plane when in the storage position, a moving mechanism 40 engages the panel assembly to displace the panel assembly between a stored position and a deployed position and the cover assembly 30 has a cover panel 31, the cover panel, when in the deployed position, extends in the first common horizontal plane HP1 and is substantially coplanar with the ceiling 13 to conceal the cavity 16, and the cover panel, when in the storage position, extends in the cavity in a second common horizontal plane higher than the first common horizontal plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
