    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material capable of preventing the intrusion of termite or the like into a building over a long period without taking labor and cost, in which, even if a displacement is caused in piping and concrete by the vibration of a building or the like, a gap caused by peeling is hard to be generated.SOLUTION: Provided is a sealing material comprising: 20-50 wt.% of a base material made of drying oil and semidrying oil; and 0.5-10 wt.% of an anti-termite material made of a boron-based compound. As the boron-based compound, e.g., a disodium octaborate tetrahydrate is preferable.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】 手間も費用もかけずに、長期間シロアリ等の建物内へ侵入を防止でき、建物の振動等で配管やコンクリートに変位が生じたときにも、剥離による隙間が発生し難いシーリング材を提供する。【解決手段】 開示されるシーリング材は、乾性油又は半乾性油からなる基材２０〜５０重量％、ホウ素系化合物からなる防蟻材０．５〜１０重量％を含有している。上記ホウ素系化合物としては、例えば、八ホウ酸二ナトリウム四水和物が好ましい。【選択図】 なし
