PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite segment capable of meeting a requirement for constructing a submerged construction with a large cross section and preventing a decline in construction efficiency, which allows an excellent maintenance and management to be achieved.SOLUTION: A composite segment (5) constituting a submerged construction buried in the ground comprises: an outside piece (51) forming an outer wall of the submerged construction; an inside piece (52) forming an inner wall of the submerged construction; an intermediate connection member (53) connecting the outside piece (51) with the inside piece (52) between both ends of the outside piece (51) and the inside piece (52) in a longitudinal direction; and a filler (54) provided between the outside piece (51) and the inside piece (52), wherein at least one of the outside piece (51) and the inside piece (52) is formed of concrete.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
