PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly sign tool which is easier to be carried and stored and a base material for the assembly sign tool.SOLUTION: An assembly sign tool 20 is an assembly sign tool formed by folding a base material 1 and assembled to be a tubular body having a side face part 21, a tail part 22, and an arcuate bottom part 23, the assembly sign tool 20 comprising a folding state maintaining means 25 that is provided in the base material and maintains a folding state of the base material in a state where a left end part 3a of one end in a direction intersecting with a fold line that appears when the base material is folded and a right end part 3b of the other end are partially overlapped to form a tubular shape. The side face part is formed by maintenance of the folding state of the base material by the folding state maintaining means, the tail part is formed by folding back a fold 2 made in a direction along the surface of the side face part, the fold 2 being provided in the base material and located at the lower side of the tubular base material when the side face part is arranged in a lateral direction, and the bottom part is a boundary between the side face part and the tail part, and is a fold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
