PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary slope for levee protection capable of protecting a levee from the weight of self-propelled work machine.SOLUTION: A temporary slope for levee protection is provided with an upper face placing member 12 placed on the upper face of a levee 11, and a pair of slope members 13 arranged on both sides of the upper face placing member. The upper face placing member 12 has a rectangular placing plate 14 arranged in the longitudinal direction on the upper face of the levee, and an engaging groove forming member 15 having an upward opening provided in the longitudinal direction at the central part in the width direction of the upper face of the placing plate 14. The slope member 13 has a frame part 16 framed in a rectangular shape and a slope part 17 provided on the upper face of the frame part. The frame part is provided with, at one end thereof, an engaging projection piece 19 which projects downward and is inserted into an engaging groove 18 formed by the engaging groove forming member. The engaging projection piece has a shape in which the lower end part of both engaging projection pieces come into contact with a wall on the groove side of the engaging groove forming member upon suspending the pair of slope members to raise the other end parts of both of the slope members, bringing the upper end on one end of the frame part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
